Coach: When did you receive your CFE credential?
Randle:
I became certified in February 2015.

Coach: You attended the CFE Exam Review Course in Houston and following the course you sat for the CFE Exam on-site.  Please describe your experience of participating in the 4-day course and then sitting for the exam immediately after.
Randle:
I found the 4-day course to be extremely helpful because it gives you more insight on the test and you are able to communicate with the instructors if you need additional help understanding the test questions.

Coach: What did you like most about the CFE Exam Review Course?
Randle:
I enjoyed the ability to be able to ask questions, networking with individuals that are in my field, and the staff that assisted and encouraged test takers.

Coach: In what ways do you feel that your new CFE credential will be beneficial to you in your current profession?
Randle:
My CFE credential will allow me to receive better job opportunities and a higher yearly salary.  I will also benefit from my CFE credential because I plan to get involved in the CFE Houston Chapter, which will allow me to learn more concerning my field.

Coach: How did you prepare yourself to sit for the exam on-site? Did you spend any additional time studying after class each day?
Randle:
I prepared by getting rest, studying before the actual Review Course, and studying each night after Review Course.  I wanted to be prepared for each day’s session.

Coach: Would you recommend this course to your colleagues?
Randle:
Yes, I definitely believe that this course will benefit anyone that desires to take the CFE Exam.

Coach: How did you become passionate about fighting fraud?
Randle:
I became passionate about fighting fraud because I noticed how so many innocent victims were being targeted by individuals that commit fraud. I noticed that when someone is a victim of fraud, it affects their lives for years and years to come. I am very passionate in making sure that I can help as many people as possible, so that they don’t become a victim.

Coach: Now that we know what you do professionally, what do you like to do for fun and what do you find enjoyable about it?
Randle:
I am heavily involved in community service with Character Camp, a nonprofit organization that assists kids in having good character.  I also enjoy being an entrepreneur and working my photo booth business,  “Love Life Photo Booths.”

Coach:  Do you have any study tips or suggestions for aspiring CFEs?
Randle:
Please study before you attend the course, sleep well, and try not to stress.
